Exhibition Shows – The Year So Far | CVM Group

Something we look forward to every single year are exhibition shows. They always promise great opportunities to nurture relationships with companies we’re currently working with, and even more who we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet! Here’s a little summary of all the conferences we’ve been lucky enough to exhibit at thus far in 2024 (and one coming up in the second half of the year!)

April 2024 – International Franchise Show

The International Franchise Show, held at ExCel London, is an event primarily for businesses who are looking to open new franchises elsewhere in the world. We attend the conference every year, because the new franchises established by other businesses at the event will have a lot of work to juggle. We want to make their lives easier by providing all the vehicles they may need to get their business from concept to grand opening! There are also inspiring speakers throughout the day who provide valuable insight to our employees who have the privilege to attend the event.

May 2024 – Independent Schools and Bursar’s Association

The Independent Schools and Bursar’s Association is an event designed to assist school bursars and business managers in the successful operational and financial management of their schools. They achieve this via many seminars which take place throughout the day, which delegates and exhibitors alike will spend inside the picturesque International Convention Centre (ICC) in Newport, Wales. 

Between the seminars, delegates disperse into the exhibition space and meet with businesses like us, that work with school business managers to supply schools with products and services. The conference helps CVM catch up with customers who are currently using our minibus services, learn what’s going well for them and what we can improve upon, as well as meet new potential customers who may be looking for minibuses. We are proud to be able to offer them finance plans that suit their often-restrictive budgets, as well as low mileage second hand vehicles to help further bring prices down!

June 2024 – Annual Metro Rod Conference

CVM is proud to have supported the Annual Metro Rod Conference for 10 years. Taking place in the magnificent Celtic Manor (right next door to the ICC!) the conference brings together nearly all the franchise managers at Metro Rod and Metro Plumb for a celebration of their hard work. As proud long-time suppliers of fully fitted drainage vans to Metro Rod, and sponsors of the conference, it’s always our pleasure to join them at the scenic manor resort for an evening of networking and exquisite refreshments. The conference is a great opportunity for our team to meet senior decision makers and franchise owners at Metro Rod, and promote our services to Metro Rod franchises that haven’t yet taken advantage of our franchise van packages yet. As of writing, the team are travelling to Newport right now to set up our exhibition stand for what will be our 10th year supporting the conference!

November 2024 – Schools & Academies Show

The Schools & Academies Show, taking place at the Birmingham NEC, is a more general education exhibition show, which provides school leaders and business managers with insightful seminars and networking opportunities. A key aim of the event is to facilitate new technological solutions making their way into schools, automating tasks so that administrators, business staff and headteachers have more time to focus on navigating the larger challenges and driving school improvement. Most recently, the Schools and Academies Show has partnered with the EdTech summit

It's beneficial for CVM to attend the Schools and Academies show, as we can help to educate schools, who may be looking to reduce their carbon footprint, on the benefits and limitations of electric minibuses. With our iLease Electric Salary Sacrifice scheme, we are also proud to offer a school’s entire staff base to exchange their current vehicles for EVs. We can even arrange to have EV chargers fitted in a school car park. We always love meeting with current clients and helping many other potential customers on their journey to net zero emissions by providing educational materials about electrifying your fleet at the Schools and Academies Show, and are sure this year will be no exception!
