1 – How do we make things easy for your drivers?

If  you use CVM Fleet Management, what happens when one of your drivers breaks down, or there’s a problem with one of your vehicles, what should your driver do?

Available 24 hours a day, on 0344 573 3120, the CVM Driverline covers all driver eventualities, from routine events like services and MOTs, to more urgent situations such as roadside breakdowns. Using the renowned 1link system, we have access to 30,000 approved garages to carry out vehicle maintenance work at a convenient time and place for you.

That’s not the only way we make things easier for your fleet’s drivers! We can also help with dealing with fine management and driving license checks (including the issue of green cards for drivers requiring travel in mainland Europe). We’ll also happily manage vehicle movements and collections around the UK, and monitor your vehicle mileages to advise you about potential contract adjustments to help you avoid excess mileage charges.

2 – How do we make things easy for the fleet manager?

We will work with you to simplify your fleet management process, by taking on several key duties. We’ll work out which duties will be best for us to take on alongside you, and are always happy to tailor a fleet management package that suits your company in every respect. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the duties that CVM can take on for your fleet, to allow you to focus on what’s important and take time-consuming admin off your hands.

  • Updating fleet details, such as: finance costs, driver information, P11D values and start/end dates, as well as your Motor Insurance Database for fleet vehicles. We can also assist with any ongoing insurance renewals required for your vehicles.
  • We provide monthly reports on your operational fleet, helping you track the maintenance and repair spend on each vehicle, to help with the decision making process of which vehicles to defleet/replace. Don’t forget – at such time as you need to replace your vehicles, we can assist with our wide range of vehicle suppliers, and fit any equipment you may need.
  • We can assist you with grey fleet (company vehicles that are driven for leisure) management, as well as helping you choose the most carbon-efficient vehicles to minimise your carbon footprint.
